You still make audio software?

Friday, March 24, 2000 [04:37 PM PST]

Yes, it's been a while, but there's actually a new DirectX Audio plugin on the site - AnalogX Gate! If you haven't already guessed, it's the DirectX version of an audio gate with a very easy to use interface, plus it's super small and fast so you can run as many of these as your heart desires! It's available in the Download/Audio area, so start gating your inputs today! AnalogX DXMan also underwent some cosmetic changes as well, so you might want to grab it while you're in there...
As if that isn't enough, there's even a new AnalogX track up on MP3.com entitled 'Global', so make sure to check it out along with all the other tracks by clicking on this link ! There are also a couple of other tracks in the pipeline right now, so hopefully I'll have some more to put up in the weeks ahead...

I'm back...

Saturday, March 18, 2000 [06:37 PM PST]

That's right, after half a month of nothing happening (which is the first time in about a year that I've missed an update), everything is back on track... Out of the 11,978 messages that I received while I was gone, many people asked what was going on, and the high-level story is that I went to one of the best vision correction centers in the world, Stanford Eye Laser Center , and had my eye's lasered by the best Doctor in the world Dr. Manche . For those interested, I wrote a whole story about it in the Rambling section, so if you've been considering it, want to know what my results were, or are just interested, it's a good read.
This weeks release is one of the CGI programs that's been up on the website for a while, but I haven't had a chance to release; AnalogX CGIVote! It's at the core of the survey's on the site, and is a very flexible way to add voting and surveys to your website. Keep in mind that it only works on servers running some flavor of Windows, so if that's the case, you can grab it in the Download/Network area.
I was also on Computer Corner today, on a special where we reviewed websites from callers and gave them tips on how to improve them, etc. Ken and Brandon (the hosts) were a blast to chat with, and I think the show turned out really well; you can check out a streamed RealAudio version of the show on the link here .
